Strategy Lead & Development
2023 - 2023
Leading strategy, partnerships, finance. Doing management, admin, technical & creative stuff that comes up as well. I took a step back from being director of YCC to be less involved with day-to-day business in order to focus on uni and other projects, but still very passionate about growing this creative community!
Executive Director
2020 - 2023
The Young Composers’ Community is an international community for young composers. With our projects, meet-ups and by active dialogue, our non-profit organisation connects artists from all over the world. YCC’s aim is to create professional and original work sharing inspiration, resources and to collaborateon projects. We want to create an environment that fosters international friendships between members. At the moment we’re bringing together around 30 musicians from 12 countries. My role as founder & director at YCC is to understand where we want to go to build an inspiring creative environment and how we can get there.
Executive Assistant & Filmmaker
2022 - 2022
I worked at hema.to for 6 weeks as both Executive Assistant and created the company video as well as a pitch video for investors which received very positive feedback. I closely worked together with the CEO and CPO in supporting the fundraising process like investor research, rating and communication, supporting the market analysis and the research of comparable exits and companies. It’s been very insightful to support the company during the fundraising for the seed round, learning about challenges, approaches and strategy. I was solely responsible for the creative (storyboard, camera & sound, editing) and management aspects (planning, costs, people, location) of the video project.
Participant at ESPR camp
2022 - 2022
Invited to participate on full scholarship to the European Summer Program on Rationality (ESPR). It's an immersive workshop for mathematically talented students with a desire to understand themselves and the world. The curriculum covers a wide range of topics, from game theory, cryptography, and mathematical logic, to AI safety, styles of communication, and cognitive science. The goal of the program is to help students hone rigorous, quantitative skills as they acquire a toolbox of useful concepts and practical techniques applicable in all walks of life.
film project SOMNIUM
2019 - 2021
In 2019 I started the arthouse short movie project “SOMNIUM” with a friend of mine. He composed the music and operated the camera. I was director, actor, editor, screenwriter and we shared the producer role. I really enjoyed this variety of functions. With nearly no prior knowledge we plunged headlong into the project in May 2019. At the end of January 2021 we were finally done with editing the film and released it internationally on Amazon Prime Video.
self-teaching painting
2015 - 2020
Self study, exhibition and Academy of Fine Arts Munich --- From age 11 to 16 I intensely studied painting on my own/for myself. During that time I created around 60 paintings (watercolours, oil pastels, oil colours) and drawings as well as sketches. I was specifically interested in understanding the colours and materials I work with, to have more control in order to add more authenticity and individuality. So I studied Doerner’s classic “Malmaterial und seine Verwendung im Bilde”. Some of the oil colours I use are hence self-made with finest pigments, in order to achieve cleaner and more individual colours and I adapted a recipe of a canvas grounding from the old masters. I interned at Kremer Pigmente in Munich to further foster my understanding of working with pigments. Impressionism such as Monet influenced my works a great deal, I read different biographies about him and was looking multiple years for a (near-)complete compilation of Monet’s works. I’ve found it when I was participating in nude drawing classes at Munich’s Academy of Art 2019-20. At the age of 13 I had the opportunity to host a solo exhibition in my community with around 80 guests at the vernissage, including an opening by the mayor. I enjoy painting things I like, things which I think are beautiful or distinctive. Most of the time I paint places or things that mean something to me. An example could be my panama hat, but also nature around my hometown or other countries and urban life in the city. My pursuit is to create a colourful, shimmering, atmospheric impression of the subject. When I look at my paintings, they remind me of the feelings I have for the subject.
