Acquired by Tata; backed by Sequoia, Intel Capital, and Bill & Melina Gates Foundation PM for the pharmacy search product • Defined the product vision and strategy for the Search product at 1mg, a Sequoia backed digital health startup, by conducting 30+ user interviews, analyzing product data using SQL, and researching 20+ competitors • Identified an opportunity to improve conversion in the case of users misspelling medicines available on 1mg (10% of all queries) & increase annual sales by ~USD 1M; presented insights to stakeholders including the CTO • Led a team of 5 (3 engineers, 2 data scientists) to build a new approach to generate better spelling corrections; managed tradeoffs to avoid extensive engineering cost or expensive schema changes • Ran A/B tests, identified and measured performance metrics to iterate, & released feature to 100% of users
