I was responsible for establishing the strategy and defining the roadmap to achieve development and sales objectives. Firmly anchored in the activity of laboratory instruments in biochemistry, I have initiated a reorientation of the Business Unit in order to broaden horizons by developing Point-of-Care systems as well as molecular tests. My key assignements were: • Developed and implemented a strategic roadmap to drive revenue growth and achieve sales objectives within the business unit; • Cultivated strong relationships with key opinion leaders in obstetrics on a global scale; • Led market access initiatives with organizations affiliated with the WHO and other NGOs; • Spearheaded a strategic reorientation of the business unit by developing innovative point-of-care and molecular testing solutions; This has resulted in particular in a 3-year collaboration with the FIGO (International Federation of Obstetric & Gynecology) with the aim of establishing international guidelines for the management of pre-eclampsia, as well as an extended collaboration with the American Society of Hematology with the aim of develop newborn screening for sickle cell disease in Africa.
