MRA is the largest private funder of melanoma research. Since its founding, MRA has committed over $100mm to advance our understanding of this disease. MRA funds projects in prevention and diagnosis, with the majority of funding allocated for melanoma treatment.

Invented ground-breaking patented video communication platform alongside founding team, used by 5 million people in over 100 countries and taught in 100+ journalism schools. Raised investment from Amazon.com and other strategics, and sold into Fortune 500 including IBM, SAP, Walmart and Verizon. Led company to triple digit annual growth and sale to Squarespace.

A special purpose acquisition vehicle (SPAC) that completed a $265 million initial public offering in 2007 and closed a merger in 2009 that led to the formation of Two Harbors Investment Corp. and Silver Bay Realty Trust, NYSE listed REITs (TWO and SBY).
