Led development of Tipalti’s Expenses web UI from empty repo to production application. Shipped a well tested product and supported and up-skilled other engineers on the team to contribute to the codebase. Lead projects from requirements analysis to resource planning and implementation.

We built and launched Freetrade's web UI from empty repo to production application. Made key technology choices in the front end as well as contributing in all areas from UI to implementation of backend monitoring and alerting. Took the initiative to learn new skills and solve problems in a very fast moving start up environment.

IT Department Intern

Gained experience in the offices of the welsh governments IT department, oversaw day to day activities and spent time with the Siemens department who have a contract to maintain Welsh Government servers. Obtained good experience of the public and private sectors and the dynamic between them.

Volunteer Workshop Intern

2011 - 2011

Worked for a week in the workshop of computer aid repairing pc's to be sent to third world countries. I worked on both repairing hardware (hard drives, optical drives) and software (re installing OS's, fixing BIOS settings)
