Ordo is a K-12 lunch marketplace that pairs schools with local vendors.
Banking, fundraising, and payroll products for startups (fka Party Round). Acquired by Rho. Went for it with talented people. Got a masterclass in brand building. Did a lot of growth hacking (like starting NY tech week).

Early team. Joined after the Seed. On Deck raised $100M+ from Founders Fund, Tiger Global, & others and went from $1-20M in ARR in 12 months. Tried to build an online edtech business while also competing with YC. Probably did too many things at once. In retrospect, we were one of those hot COVID companies that went 📈 just to come crashing later. Not the outcome we hoped for but a strong community lives on with ODF. Wore a lot of hats. Got promoted a few times. Succeeded, failed, and learned. Made lifelong friends. Met my co-founder. Even though On Deck ultimately failed, the reputation and network I built was a big breakthrough for my career.
Investing in deep tech research spinouts from Midwest Universities. Landed here after my first business. Worked with a few smart people. Learned a lot about what matters, what doesn't, who I did/didn't want to be, where I did/didn't want to live, etc.
Helped start a niche electric vehicle company (Neighborhood EVs & Golf Carts). Raised angel money + bank financing. Made a lot of mistakes. Fundamentally wasn't a great business. Sold to PE in 2020. My first "startup" experience. (more of a small business in reality).
