Amsterdam Roasters is the first co-roasting hub in the Netherlands. Shared coffee roasting is saving costs, more efficient use of equipment, sharing knowledge and above all, fun! In 2019 our co-roastery became a true impact driven Coffee Collective with integrating startups in our building that share the same values & goals.

Honest coffee for everyone! 18-20 March 2016 we have launched the MVP of our App Coffee Shots in Google Play Store and iOS App Store. We are connecting coffee lovers and home baristas. Real meet-ups in home environments, real conversations at the kitchen table, an earning model for the home barista and 2% of the proceeds float back to the coffee farmers. Finally the coffee farmer participates at the end of the value chain! In June 2016 we successfullt have launched an IRL setting in Amsterdam (Barentszplein): a kiosk where (home) baristas serve specialty coffee at honest prices. In March 2017 we opened a second location in the Spaarndammerbuurt. More focus on telling the story of our coffee farmers and how you can help providing them a liveable income. In our webshop you can order our weekly fresh roasted beans: www.coffeeshots.nl/shop again: 2% of out proceeds float back to the coffee farmers we work with. Since November 2016 we are a pending B-corp Social Enterprise.
