Our philosophy that talent is evenly distributed but opportunity is not, and our mission is to bridge the gap between top tech talent around the world and the opportunities available in NYC. Since 2012, we have supported over 1,500 entrepreneurs representing 1,000 companies that have raised $1 billion in capital, exited to companies like Google, and created more than 2,500 jobs. A Song For You, founded by talented music artist Emily Cavanagh, was founded during the pandemic to support families with loved ones in hospice. Emily started writing and recording original songs for patients in hospice and their families. She has now built A Song For You into a nonprofit with over a hundred recording artists, including some Grammy winners, recording songs for hundreds of families.

Comprised of 70+ accelerators, incubators, and other platforms of innovation in NYC, we are a convening of funding sources, company creation, economic growth, and change. Founding member of the Innovation Council for FWD.us, a non-profit focused on immigration reform that grew out of the technology community in the U.S. Founded by Mark Zuckerberg and other leaders in the technology community, we work to give our values a voice in American politics, a voice of community of dreamers and doers, entrepreneurs and engineers. We imagine new possibilities, and then make them real. At our best, we aspire to make the world a better place for millions of people. To do so, we bring together a diverse group of organizers, entrepreneurs, and innovators. By mobilizing supporters through local chapters and online advocacy, we enable them to engage their elected leaders and win transformational policy changes.

iCatapult is a Budapest-based technology accelerator 'catapulting' the best startups from Central and Eastern Europe into the U.S. I supported the development of their network of investors and advisors in New York to support the launch of their startups into the U.S.

Advising start-ups since 2008 helping to drive revenue, develop products, and revamp web strategies that delivered top line results for firms in the public relations, consumer products, and education businesses. During that time, I was lucky enough to work with The Motherhood, Bedtime Networks, Joyride Coffee Distributors, and Med School Tutors.

Reported directly to the CEO and consistently managed the firm’s highest-priority projects as the sole business development asset of the firm. My role focused on blue sky business development, M&A projects, software product management, and project management. Key projects: *Managed M&A process for acquisition and merger targets, resulting in two deals in the equity research space *Managed global implementation of Netsuite ERP and CMS solutions, which included mapping out 20 years of custom built infrastructure, building and RFP, evaluating and selecting vendors and managing the 18-month implementation of both a financial management system and a content management system for our global workforce *Managed a revamp of content distribution strategy with OTR Exchange, unique equity research blog product, including mobile apps for content delivery to iPad, iPhone, Google Android.
