Led the technical evolution of Wander to +1000 properties over three years, scaling systems to handle our 14x YoY growth. Built core revenue-generating systems, established engineering best practices, and mentored our growing team. My contributions were instrumental in transforming Wander from a small startup to a worldwide operation managing hundreds of premium properties all across the globe.

Lead Engineer

2023 - 2024

I led the development of several high-impact initiatives across product, infrastructure, and guest experience: 🏦 Wander REIT – Built the backend systems powering the launch of Wander Atlas, the industry's first vacation-rental REIT, enabling direct investment into luxury short-term rentals. 🏎️ Tesla Integration – Integrated Tesla vehicles into the Wander experience, including secure driver's license verification and full remote control via the app (lock/unlock, climate, etc.). 💬 Wander Chat – Architected a real-time, multi-platform messaging system for guest support across the Wander Admin dashboard, mobile apps, website, Airbnb, SMS, and Messenger. successfully handled +400k messages. 🛟 Travel Insurance – Implemented a seamless travel insurance experience at booking, providing guests peace of mind through integrated coverage options. 🏡 Smart Home Automation – Engineered smart-home controls for lighting, locks, climate, and even hot tub preheating — all accessible via the Wander app for a premium, touchless stay.
