- Led the design and execution of Telefónica’s CVC strategy in Chile, reporting to the CEO of Telefónica Chile and aligning with the Global Chief Innovation Office in Madrid. - In eight years we invested in 45 chilean early-stage startups and increased x3 the portfolio market value, including the exit of 4 companies. - As CVC our goal was to impact Telefónica's value proposition doing business development between selected startups and the company, looking to impact Telefonica’s EBIDTA. Just in 2019 this business generated US$ 4MM in new revenue for Telefónica. - Managed key exits and worked closely with high-performing startups such as U-Planner (EdTech), Recorrido (Mobility), Autofact (bigdata), Simpliroute (AI), Poliglota (EdTech and YC company), Webdox (legaltech) and ZappingTV (Video)

During his role as Country Manager he manages a team of outstanding professionals with years of open innovation experience, working as an investment partner with more than 50 entrepreneurs who are part of the local innovation portfolio, and at a level of directors and VPs in Telefónica Group looking for new income and efficiencies linking the corporation with startups. Part of his role is also managing the high-level relationship with the innovation ecosystem, with the government, venture capital funds and other corporations.

Responsible for the government program "Education for Entrepreneurship" where the Ministry of Economiy and the Ministry of Education promote the teaching of entrepreneurial skills in schools. Founder of the "Guaranteed Credit for Gazelles Companies” (CGG in Spanish), initiative that delivers guaranteed credits given by SGR’s to emerging companies with difficult access to the traditional banking credit system
