• Primarily worked on the new EMR Console using React, Typescript, and the AWS JS SDK. Worked closely with UX/PMs to build customer facing features including Cluster creation/cloning and Security Configurations. • Owned the strategy and implementation for end to end testing of the new EMR Console inside of our CI/CD pipeline to ensure critical workflows are working automatically across deployments. • Designed and implemented Operational Readiness processes for EMR Console, including latency and customer ready metrics. Met AWS org wide goal of 100% operational coverage. • Automated console, test, and feature access control infrastructure creation via AWS CDK. • Participated in code reviews, design reviews, on-call rotation and conducted interviews.

Senior Software Engineer
2015 - 2022
• Front end lead for the new NBA.com. Designed the app’s architecture, developed coding standards, and worked with external teams on API schemas. App built with NextJS/React, Tailwind, CSS Modules, D3, Storybook, and Jest. Responsible for development of high impact pages: Games and Game Details, including live box scores and NBA LeaguePass video player integration. Participated in the hiring process, created sample coding tests, gave interviews and helped grow the team. • Technical Lead and maintainer for all NBA Stats front end platforms: NBA.com/Stats, WNBA Stats, GLeague Stats and NBA2K Stats. Managed up to 2 direct reports who helped with project management and coding. • Engineered the full stack for NBA All-Star Voting from 2018-present. Configured AWS cloud services and wrote NodeJS functions to process votes from front end, including validation, message queue processing, and safe database insert for millions of votes per year. Tech lead on front end, using React, Redux and Progressive Web Application tech to greatly improve performance with a focus on low end mobile devices. Included multi-region support, 2 languages, service workers, and lazy loading. Currently uses NextJS with static site exporting. • Collaborated with Google to create a Progressive Web App for Google I/O 2017 using VueJS with attention to mobile performance. Implemented best practices for increasing page speed and learned how to benchmark browser performance. Used Webpack for code splitting and lazy loading. Represented the NBA at the conference and established external relationships, which resulted in the NBA logo being featured on stage and the global live stream. • Technical Lead, data architect, and front end engineer on NBA Alerts real time events UI
