SAPiens is a world FGA initiative to install SAP R/3 in all their subsidiaries, since beginning of 2006. I was the SAPiens PMO, in Argentina, reporting to CIO of Fiat Automoveis SA, and Global PMO SAPiens of FGA. The first part of the Project began on May’07 and successfully started in production on February’08. My span of control were the installation of MM, FI/CO, PS, PM, y BW; and the definition, analysis, and testing, of almost 200 objects, among GAPs, interfaces, and conversions. The team was 78 members, including a 3rd part Integrator, a 3rd part Builder, and Full Time Key Users.

Fully integrated steel company specialized in flat and rolled steel products. It is a subsidiary of TERNIUM Group, with facilities in Venezuela, Mexico, Guatemala, and USA (Net Sales USD8,200 millions; 11.0 millions tons annual capacity; 21,000 employees). I was IT manager of NCA project (Nuevo Ciclo Activo), reporting to SIDERAR CEO, and TERNIUM Corporative CIO. The scope of the project was to replace a mix of several legacy support systems, in business processes as capacity planning, sales, production programming, shop floor operations, stock management, quality control, delivery, order tracking, and invoicing. Deployments took place in 9 industrial facilities, located in Buenos Aires and Santa Fe states, and commercial areas, in company headquarters, in Buenos Aires. Project considered challenge activities as Change Management programs of almost 3,500 people across all facilities, including blue and white collars, technicians, managers, and directors.

I was Functional manager of SIPCA project (Sistema Integrado de Producción, Comercialización, y Administración), reporting to SIDOR CEO, and TERNIUM Corporative CIO. My responsibility was leading Key Users in business processes definitions (commercial, production, supply chain, and administration); functional testing; Train the Trainers methodology; and functional support during Go Live process. The scope of the project was to replace a mainframe legacy support system of capacity planning, sales, production programming, stock management, quality control, delivery, order tracking and invoicing; in the main industrial facility, located in Puerto Ordaz; commercial area, in Caracas; and International offices, in Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Brazil, Mexico, Guatemala, Houston (USA), Valencia (Spain), and Bergamo (Italy).

Automobile maker, subsidiary of Renault France Group, and with a strong commercial, industrial, and operational relationship with Renault do Brazil. I was CIO assistant, reporting to CIO and CFO. My main responsibilities were helping CIO in daily operations; developing IT projects; and monitoring EDS, in charge of IT outsourcing services. Important activities of this period were: • BPR manager of commercial, administrative, financial, supplying, and logistics processes. In this project, several benchmarking were done mainly in different plants and headquarters of Renault (Curitiba, Brazil); GM (Nashville; Detroit, USA); and Toyota (San Francisco, USA). In these projects participated consultants of EDS and AT Kearney • Project manager of IT project, leading implantation of SAP R/3 MM, FI/CO, and SD. Origin of USA participated as Integrator, and EDS as IT supplier. This project was developed with the participation of Renault do Brazil, and Renault France, as functional advisors.
