The companies I worked with or have advised include privately-owned businesses in technology, consumer products, industrial, materials, business services, and digital media. Example clients include INVISTA (Koch Industries), Infrafone, Simple Devices (now part of Universal Electronics, Inc.), Scojo Vision (now part of Luxottica), Happy Family Foods (now part of Danone Group), and Demandbase.

Managed the NYC operations and a team of 7 professionals including investment bankers, lawyers, and marketing and business development professionals. Katalyst focused on cable, broadband and digital media and traditional media startups. Limited Partners in Katalyst’s venture fund included myself, John Malone (Liberty Media), Gerry Lenfest (Lenfest Media Group) and other cable and media notables.

Co-Founder, early CFO/COO and Director of Professional Services. Supplybase was acquired by i2 Technologies in 2000 (now part of JDA) Activities and Accomplishments - Started company as one of 3 founding partners and investors, raising approximately $10M in angel and venture capital funding. - Served as CFO/COO between 1996-1998, subsequently creating and leading the Professional Services organization. Grew company to over 70 employees. - Sold company to i2 Technologies in 2000.
Business Development Manager / Regional Quality Leader - GE Plastics

Managed direct sales and marketing of engineering plastic resins to hi-tech manufacturers for the Northern California and Nevada region. Sectors sold into included automotive, media (CD, DVD, CD-ROM), medical devices, consumer products, consumer electronics and industrial components. Tripled sales in the territory 3x. Subsequently promoted to Regional Quality Leader, where I served led the initial Six Sigma implementation for the region.

Served in many capacities during the 6 years at DuPont. Activities and Accomplishments: - Started DuPont career at the Mylar Polyester Film manufacturing facility in Florence, SC while obtaining engineering degree (Co-op) from Clemson University. - Served 2 years in the corporate engineering department in Wilmington, DE, working on large capital projects for Viton ® Elastomer Product Line in Deepwater, NJ and Japan. - Served 1.5 years as corporate engineering recruiter, managing recruiting activities at 33 engineering universities nationwide. Responsible for sourcing and hiring over 50 new DuPont engineers. - Served in technical support for marketing and sales of Clysar® shrink film business (Packaging division), and subsequently as regional distribution sales manager for the Northeast U.S. and Eastern Canada.
