Dr. Dennis Khoo is a Digital Transformation Expert, Keynote Speaker, and Author of the bestselling book "Driving Digital Transformation."     Led a consortium of investors (Bytedance, RVC, SBI) as CEO-designate to bid for the Digital Wholesale Bank (DWB) license in Singapore. Designed and developed a strong proposal for the small and mid size SME banking business. Was one of the finalist for the DWB license but not selected for the two licenses awarded. Managed to confirm 10 out of 11 strong candidates as direct reports to the CEO.

    Pioneered a loyalty and payments joint-venture with the VIG Group as entry strategy and vehicle for UOB's TMRW digital bank in Vietnam.

    Avatec.ai is an alternative credit scoring joint venture with Pintec, a startup incorporated in China and listed on Nasdaq. Together with another senior colleague, we conceptualised and created Avatec to experiment and learn how to improve our underwriting capabilities using alternate data and machine learning.

    Pioneered a "startup" within UOB Group to build a new consumer digital bank from scratch. This eventually became the UOB TMRW Digital Bank, launched in Thailand in 2019 and in Indonesia in 2020. The Net Promoter Score of TMRW is amongst the highest in the countries where it has been launched.

    Responsible for the consumer banking business in Singapore, covering all consumer banking products and segments from core banking to privilege banking. Managed a business of ~S$2B in revenues.

Significantly expanded breadth and depth of product range, gaining industry-wide recognition for innovative products such as e$aver (US$4B AUM), XtraSaver, FeeSaver, Retail bonds, ELNs, Structured Products, Asset-backed Lending products such as SharePower+, "Mega" Lending (Lending bundled with Structured Products), etc. Built a differentiated proposition by re-engineering customer experience, developing advisory and other service capabilities.
