AWS services used include EC2, RDS, S3, CloudWatch, Route 53 and VPC.

    • Provided software support for the Podcast/Portable Media Expo. • Co-hosted the first "Business of Podcasting" podcast, entitled "The Podcast Brothers" with brother and co-founder Tim Bourquin. • Created a custom content management and podcast website build system for several popular podcasts using PHP and MP3 ID3 tags. Podcasts included Trader Interviews, Endurance Radio, Small Business Podcast, and The Podcast Brothers. • Co-created and programmed the CodeIgniter based small business website SmallBusinessExpo.com . • Programmed and optimized a million dollar affiliate marketing campaign, winning NeverBlue's Out of Bounds Cancun trip for top affiliates in 2011.

    • Supported numerous customers during their integration process of TransDimensions's embedded Universal Serial Bus (USB) stack and TransDimension USB chips into their products. • Gained valuable knowledge and troubleshooting experience involving third party operating systems and their hardware driver functionality. Operating systems included Linux, Windows CE, ATI's Nucleus and WindRiver's VxWorks. • Responsible for creation of the Linux/BusyBox bootable CD included in the TransDimension PCI-card based hardware demo kit. • Evaluated various third-party USB development platforms in an effort to create a universal USB test device that would implement standardized USB protocols, including Human Interface Device (HID), Mass Storage, Picture Transfer Protocol (PTP/PIMA), Printer, and Hub. • Evaluated several open-source trouble-ticket systems. Heavily modified PHP and MySQL based Issue Tracker to make it TransDimension product-line specific.

    • Ported firmware from existing 860SAR PowerPC line card to cost-reduced 850DSL PowerPC design (Flash drivers, port remapping and initialization, ASIC interfaces, memory maps, etc.) • Developed strong debugging skills while programming in C and assembly code for embedded systems (68HC16, 68360, 860/850 PowerPC running under ATI’s Nucleus operating system, 8051) using EST/WindRiver VisionPROBE/ICE emulators and VisionClick software • Developed software tools for internal use and low-level troubleshooting of AFC’s digital loop carrier (C, Visual C++, PERL, and JavaScript) • Analysed and resolved software and hardware issues in existing line-cards • Supported AFC's customer service department during low level problems of customer systems. • Acted as liaison between the customer service department and engineering during troubleshooting and resolution of existing bugs in hardware and software.

    1997 - 1998

    • Provided telephone and on-site technical support to customers who were using Advanced Fibre Communications’ (AFC) digital loop carrier in their telecommunications infrastructure. • Troubleshooting of numerous types of telecommunications circuits, including T1, ADSL, POTS, DID, TR-08, and TR-303. • Identification and characterization of low-level problems on AFC line-cards. • Supported approval testing of AFC equipment by major telecommunications providers. • Traveled to Hong Kong and China for three weeks to troubleshoot recurring problems in asynchronous T1 circuits at remote locations. Identified a revision-specific line-card combination of Asynchronous T1 and Fiber Optic Transceiver, that in combination, was unstable. Findings led to a worldwide product advisory.
