Management 103 is dedicated to creating passion and excitement in undergraduate engineering students for becoming an entrepreneur, and to teaching and applying the techniques created by Alex Osterwalder (Business Model Generation), Eric Ries (Lean Startup), Steve Blank (The Startup Owner's Manual), Ash Maurya (Running Lean) as well as other leading thinkers in the innovation economy to a successful engineering career.

The River Fund is dedicated to ameliorating and tackling poverty in all its forms and at any level. Through its Mary C. Tiedemann Scholarship program, The River Fund covers the funding gaps between scholarships and the true cost of eduction for attending four year colleges, as well as other forms of support for the students. These gaps often pose insurmountable obstacles for children who grow up in poverty. Through the River Fund, I am honored to provide active and long-term mentoring to recipients of Tiedemann scholarships. They have been accepted to college - the goal of mentoring is to provide support and counsel on getting through the programs - graduating.
