Markforged is a manufacturing company that invents a new 3D printing process to build parts with the strength of Continuous Carbon Fiber.
Raised $346,800,000.00 from M12 - Microsoft's Venture Fund, Wasatch Ventures, Miller Value Partners, Porsche Automobil Holding, Wellington Management, Baron Capital and BlackRock.

Product Creation Leader for PLAY:1 Product Creation Leader for PLAY:5 The Product Creation Leader directs the efforts of all Sonos functional engineering managers and engineers (i.e. wireless, acoustic, software, mechanical, etc...) from concept through production for the latest smart speaker products. Led very successful teams through positive and effective influence. Was responsible for facilitating innovation and pushing the limits of design while tightly managing resources and schedules, managing product cost, making technical trade-off decisions, and communicating decisions, issues, risks, and status to the larger Sonos organization. As the project owner, was the voice of the development team outward to the entire company. Interacted with people across the company to bring new products into high scale mass production.

Senior Systems Engineer
2006 - 2010
Worked on the research and development of a new type of audio transducer. Conventional audio transducers ("speakers") use voice coils, permanent magnets, and cone shaped membranes to produce sound. Emo Labs' transducers were fundamentally different; they use piezoelectric actuators and curved membranes to convert electrical energy into sound waves. Emo Labs was a small VC funded start up. (approximately 15 people) The company was later re-branded ClearView Audio.

Two of my fondest memories of working at EAW were the two times I watched a couple of live shows (LIVE and Hootie and the Blowfish) at the mix position. We were testing a new speaker control system known as the MX8000 and I had developed the software to control it. Being right in the middle of the show was AWESOME.
