Leading an inspired team funding the end of cancer, with a record $75 million raised in 2024. Founded in 1980, the PMC is the most successful athletic fundraiser in the world, having since donated more than $1 billion to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. The PMC hosts cycling events throughout the year - including its signature ride across Massachusetts the first weekend of August - and 100% of rider-raised dollars fund treatment and cures for cancer.

Built the world's first university dedicated to the equitable delivery of health care, alongside a dedicated team of educators, caregivers, and philanthropists including the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and Cummings Foundation. A Rwanda-based subsidiary of Partners In Health, UGHE welcomes international students, faculty, and researchers advancing best practices in caring for the most vulnerable populations.

Led special projects for this pioneering health care NGO in Haiti, Malawi, and the US. Raised seed capital to establish PIH's new health sciences university in Rwanda (see "University of Global Health Equity" above).

Created this early stage venture capital firm supporting information technology entrepreneurs. Negotiated investments, served on boards of directors, managed limited partner relationships, and helped portfolio companies achieve liquidity through acquisitions or initial public offerings.

Established and ran the venture capital subsidiary of The Thomson Corporation (now Thomson Reuters), one of the world's largest publishing and information companies. Built a market for business telephone systems, establishing 47 new accounts and ranking first among all California sales reps through Q1 1986.
Access Control Manager
1983 - 1984
Engineered and deployed the first electronic access control system in Olympic history, using ID badges with barcodes and a network of over 300 scanners, positively identifying over 100,000 athletes, media, staff, and volunteers during the 1984 Summer Olympics.
