Head of Google for Startups, US
2019 - 2023
I worked to level the playing field for under-resourced founders in emerging US markets. I led the creation and execution of the Google for Startups Black Founders Fund, which evolved to various Google for Startups Founders Funds that have deployed over $50M in non-dilutive capital to early stage entrepreneurs around the globe. The funding has been catalytic, as recipients have gone on to raise over $500M in additional capital.
