During the early stages of COVID-19, we added more new jobs to the economy than any other company in the USA by onboarding over 500,000 shoppers in 3 months, growing Instacart’s GTV from $7B to $33B.

    2018 - 2020

    Owned supply growth and shopper experience. Grew Instacart Pickup from a fledgling product line into a $1B GTV business, while simultaneously improving contribution margin by $6/order. Increased Shopper NPS by 50 points.

    2017 - 2018

    Worked with engineering, design, data, machine learning, and ops teams to build systems that balanced supply and demand. We reduced demand lost due to a lack of customer availability by 3x & developed core company metrics for customer availability, lost demand, shopper utilization, and engagement.

    2017 - 2018

    Built products that allowed us to 10x shopper activations and bring on new shoppers without an on-the-ground operational presence. As a result, we were able to expand from 30 markets to 200 markets and grow from 20% to 80% household coverage in the US and Canada.
