  • Chief Executive Officer

    2025 - Current

Shareholder Ventures (SHV) is a holding company — backed by 85 experienced founders and operators — that helps Acquisition Entrepreneurs acquire SMBs from retiring owners by providing capital, back office support, resources and community to enable the successful Silver Tsunami transition of 500k+ profitable SMBs ($3M-12M enterprise values, leveraging SBA7a loans) by 2045. Co-founded by CEO Jordan Fliegel (2X venture backed CEO of CoachUp and Draft and investor in 300+ startups) and COO Tim Ericson (founder/CEO of Zagster, backed by $40M in VC), SHV is the investor of choice for self-funded searchers seeking a strategic capital partner for their SMB acquisition. Jordan and Tim founded SHV out of their own frustration with searching for, and buying small businesses and came together to create the solution for searchers across the country looking to change the trajectory of their lives and achieve financial freedom through owning a profitable small business, while enabling sellers to retire knowing their company and legacy are in safe hands.

Early stage venture capital fund and syndicate

  • co-CEO

    2016 - 2019

Draft.com (DRAFT in the app & play stores) was a real money fantasy sports company. Our mission was to create the best place to play. We sold Draft for ~$48M in 2017 to Paddy Power Betfair PLC. Loved working with my co-CEO and childhood best friend, Jeremy Levine, and an incredibly talented group that built the best games in the DFS industry.

Draft is the first truly mobile fantasy game. Like Words with Friends for fantasy with real money.

Raised $5,600,000.00 from TCG, QueensBridge Venture Partners, Right Side Capital Management, BoxGroup, Upfront Ventures and Advancit Capital.

  • President

    2015 - 2016

Led acquisition of Athletes of Valor, whose Founder & CEO Alex Stone, later became CEO of CoachUp.

  • CEO & Founder

    2012 - 2015

CoachUp is a service that connects athletes with coaches. We believe that 1on1 coaching is the secret to reaching the next level in sports + life. As the nation's leading sports coaching company -- backed by $14M in venture capital and a 3X member of the Inc 5000 fastest growing American company list -- CoachUp has over 15,000 coaches in every sport (including fitness, yoga, and dance), across the country. CoachUp coaches are entrepreneurs who rely on CoachUp to build their web presence, market their services, and manage their business, from lesson to camps and clinics. Its a community inspired by passion, big dreams, hard work, and love of coaching. Founded and led CoachUp as CEO from concept through 3 rounds of venture capital, building a talented 30 person team and partnering with NBA MVP Stephen Curry as our lead spokesman. I believe that its possible to achieve anything if you dream big, work hard, and receive the right support. My life was altered by a private coach in basketball, who helped me go from being a mediocre high school player to fulfilling my dream of playing at the collegiate & professional level. I later became a private coach in basketball to have a similar impact on kids in my hometown. My experience with individual coaching, both as an athlete and a coach, led me to the idea for CoachUp, and my passion for the athletes and coaches we support motivates me every day. CoachUp would not have been possible without my amazing technical co-founders Arian Radmand and Gabe Durazo, among so many others, and our incredible investors and advisors. I'm very grateful and proud of what we have built together and the work we continue to do, coaching up thousands of kids across the country every week.

Won the Israeli “Winner Cup” national tournament in 2008-2009 and finished the regular season in 2nd place behind Maccabi Tel Aviv.
