I am an advisor to numerous startups, and serve on the Board of Advisors at the Lowell Milken Business Policy Institute at the UCLA School of Law, the UCLA Technology Development Group, the Stanfrod Law School Rock Center for Corporate Governance and the University of California President's Entreneurship Council. I am also a part time faculty member at the UCLA School of Law teaching Silicon Valley Law to upper division law students, and a guest lecturer at the Stanford Graduate School of Business.

I was a senior partner at Venture Law Group, founded by Craig Johnson from Wilson, Sonsini. I joined one year after its founding with more than 20 lawyers from my prior firm in 1995 to help innovate the practice of law for the entrepreneurial ecosystem. VLG was a leading law firm in this arena for many years, bringing forward numerous changes to the legal profession that continue to this day. I am very proud of my leadership role at the firm, and most importantly, our ability to help amazing clients to achieve their objectives while also enabling countless career opportunities for the lawyers and others who worked at VLG.

I was an associate and then partner at this leading U.S. law firm that was one of the major forces in the ascent of the Silicon Valley legal profession. I was one of the first attorneys in the firm's Palo Alto office. I also served on the firm's Executive Committee governing this 700 lawyer firm.
