11 Tribes Ventures is an early-stage venture fund that proactively invests in the resilience of entrepreneurs. The fund is radical in its allocation of resources to fund founder wellbeing, putting real dollars towards their mental, emotional, and spiritual health. They are proving that healthy founders will lead to healthy returns without compromising mission or profitability. We're investing into Seed ($500k+ ARR) & Series A ($2M-$3M ARR) startups from coast to coast (outside of traditional VC hubs like NYC, SF, BOS). We like to lead as generalist investors, and have broader interests in healthcare, cybersecurity, food & ag tech AI, supply chain & logistics, ecommerce, sales & marketing, vertical software and more. Investment Mandate -Competitive geographies: non-traditional VC hubs, we fly over SF/ NYC/ BOS and look for founders building in tier 2 ecosystems like Nashville, Cincinnati, Chattanooga, Chicago, etc -Seed and early Series A: companies generating $500k-2M ARR, raising $1M - $3M of outside capital on a $5M - 13M cap; with our Venture Partner Platform, we add the most value to founders tackling “execution risk” as opposed to “development risk”. -Founder: Strong narrative around founder-market fit (domain expertise). Often times, our founders are bootstrapped and proud, and they have a distaste for traditional venture capital. We are actively deploying capital ($750k-1M) into resilient founders who want to build with capital efficiency, focusing on strategic exits of $80M-$200M. In limiting the amount of capital they raise early on, founders retain optionality to scale their business profitably.
