Role and Responsibilities • Led virtually all back office functions related to transaction and advisory services. Led multiple marketing campaigns and negotiated with prospective investors and acquirers on behalf of clients. Created valuation models using comparable companies, precedent transactions, and DCF methodologies, and modeled project finance, corporate finance, M&A, tax equity, and US GAAP-compliant financial statements. Main contributor to company’s quarterly newsletter Accomplishments • Efforts led to over $300 million in project financing, corporate financing, and M&A volume o Structured cross-border financing for small-wind developer that included near- simultaneous closing of $200mm in sponsor equity, $13.5mm in tax equity, $8mm in corporate equity, and $4mm in revolving debt o Led complete review of commercial solar developer on behalf of China-based buy-side client, and assisted with negotiating the purchase price down from $77mm to $57mm. Structured transaction to increase total holdbacks and defer additional portions of the purchase price to earnout payments o Led due diligence process for $9mm acquisition of distressed assets of fintech company o Co-created valuation models and marketing materials for residential solar developer valued at $9mm, helping to secure an LOI from a large conglomerate o Assisted with annual valuation of public construction and solar development company based in Europe.
