Indicator Capital is an early-stage Venture Capital firm based in São Paulo and Silicon Valley, that manages the largest Deep Tech VC fund in Latin America (~US$ 70M AUM). LPs include Qualcomm Ventures, BNDES, Motorola, Lenovo, Multilaser, Banco do Brasil, 3G Radar, Telefonica, among others. ◆ Led over half of the firm’s investments (~$10M). Board observer in 11 companies (Seed to Series B). Involved in 4 M&A/exits. ◆ Analyzed more than 900 startups over 5 years, building a database of over 14k mapped startups. ◆ Created Indicator’s Specialists Network, a community with 50+ large corporations C-Levels, startup founders and consultants as Operating Partners (OP’), examples: OP’s as an M&A advisor during exit, hired as board member, or becoming Interim CFO.

◆ Led Indicator’s application to a public bid by BNDES and Qualcomm Ventures. Due to its data-driven approach, Indicator was selected as the best firm (among 15) and raised 87% more capital than expected for its second fund. ◆ Personally sourced and raised $10M in funding from new investors, 53% of the capital raised in the second closing. ◆ Developed a data-driven value creation program for investees: Building Value Together®. 400+ value creation actions registered, 50+ successful intros with investors, clients, service providers, mentors. Personally promoted 150+ of those actions.

◆ Structured a data-driven investment platform, making it possible to analyze 350+ startups per year vs 150 in the previous year, also doubling the hit rate from 2 investments per year to 4 (currently 6+). The platform also reduced gender/race bias in committees. ◆ Personally sourced partnerships with 40+ ecosystem players, reducing proactive vs referral + inbound ratios from 62% to 17%.
