Founded in 1978, Michigan Language Center (MLC) is the longest running private English language center in Ann Arbor, MI. It is also has an accredited online program serving companies and students all over the world. In 2017, our family acquired the institution. We are on a mission to teach English and American culture to people from around the world and empower them in their university, career, and personal pursuits. In 2011, I started the edtech company Seelio with a passion to improve the return on investment of a college education. Over the past 4 years, we raised close to $2 million in venture funding, grew the staff from 3 to over 30, and expanded our reach to tens of thousands of students. In 2014, Seelio was acquired by Keypath Education, a global education company with offices in the US, Canada, UK and Australia. We have continued to grow the company under the banner of Keypath Education.

In this role, I helped to recruit teams from across campus and mobilized mentors to support the startups throughout their lifecycle. In addition, I worked to bring venture capitalists and angel investors to demo days.
