Associate in the energy practice, with focus on private equity advisory. Expertise in unconventional natural gas (E&P and midstream) and energy-efficiency portfolio strategies. Private equity experience included highly-selective secondment to independent firm. Also included fund formation (e.g., investment processes, structure, marketing, and organizational design) for institutional clients including pension funds and corporations. Achieved direct promotion in lieu of MBA sponsorship.

Promoted to Team Lead in Nov. 2010. Fund dissolved in Spring 2011.

Chosen to provide internal profitability analysis to partnership in preparation sale.

Worked directly under partner-level attorney at boutique commercial litigation practice. Sat "Second-Chair" at federal jury trial for VC client in security fraud case; wrote appellate briefs for state and federal courts (approved by partner). Significant exposure to contract, employment, and IP disputes.
