Overview
Work Experience
Chief Research Officer (CRO)
2025 - Current
I lead cutting-edge research into scalable, efficient, and adaptable multi-agent AI systems—designing their architectures, guiding both theoretical exploration and hands-on implementation, and translating our findings into peer-reviewed publications. By collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, I ensure that breakthrough insights move quickly from research prototypes to real-world products.
Executive Board Member
2025
I contribute guiding the strategic direction of CoMSES.net, policy-making, and governance while overseeing projects and resources to ensure efficiency and transparency. I play key roles in community building and outreach, foster partnerships and collaborative initiatives, and serve as liaisons to external organizations. I also evaluate CoMSES.net’s activities and impact, ensuring that the organization stays aligned with its mission and consistently supports open, reproducible science. Ultimately, I provide mentorship and advocate for best practices within the computational modeling community.
HPC Advisory Board
2023
The HPC advisory board’s primary tasks and responsibilities include: maximizing the value of NORCE's HPC investment, reviewing and advising on mercantile conditions and pricing models, establishing and adopting guidelines for prioritization, managing competing needs, and making strategic decisions in times of resource shortages, whether in hardware or personnel.
Senior Research Scientist
2023
I am doing research on LLM-augmented agent-based modelling and simulation. I am leading significant projects like the Digital Social Twin of Norway (DSTN), focusing on a proof-of-concept study on the LLM-augmented Digital Social Twin framework. I manage the URBANE project aimed at upscaling innovative green urban logistics solutions through multi-actor collaboration, which involves 41 partners across the EU. My role at NORCE involves leading work packages, project management, and architectural design, emphasizing my leadership in cutting-edge research and development in digital and social modelling systems.
AI Architect in Multi-Agent Systems
2024 - 2025
I am acting as a consultant and leveraging my multi-agent systems knowledge to inspire trust and professionalism with clients and showcase Xenon7’s capabilities to deliver needed solutions successfully.
