    www.e-tradeunions.org is a worldwide helpdesk for web-workers in NGO’s and trade unions. The website carries 5 languages: German, English, French, Spanish and Russian. The helpdesk covers web management, content management, interactive management, techniques. It is specially made for web workers outside the USA and Northwestern Europe. With the participation of UNI, ITUC, FNV, Prospect (UK). (E-tradeunions won the Trade Unions Award 2002: The Best Info Product). The team: a group of friends/web managers all of whom started well before the Millennium.

  • Web Manager

    1999 - 2002

    www.fnv.nl , creating a new concept for trade union websites as manager of a coordination-team of 6 people, 70 web workers all over the Netherlands, achieving a website with 30,000 visitors a week (in 2001!). All web-workers were trained on issues like: web-concept, writing for the web, interaction design, marketing/promotion of a website. (www.fnv.nl won the Dutch trade union award: Best information product of the year 2000. In 2001 www.fnv.nl got the Trade Union Award for the Best Idea)
