Overview 

Pravin Raut is currently the Head of Digital Manufacturing Engineering & Operations at Daimler Truck Innovation Center India, with a background in Automotive Engineering and extensive experience in Project Management and Sheetmetal Forming Simulation. Previously, he served as a Senior Program Manager at Mercedes-Benz Research and Development India, specializing in Press part Planning & Engineering.

I was responsible for West and South of India Business operation, and played "key" role as a Global Technical Product Manager for AutoForm-Catia Interface. As an Asst. Manager, I was looking after Techno-Commercial job; it includes - Business development in India - Customer Relations & Key Account Manager for Mercedes Benz, General Motors, Mahindra & Mahindra, Vehama - Training, support & Services - Onsite working experience in USA, Germany and Japan

    Conex is an ISO 9001-2000 certified organization and in couple of years emerged one of the best tool maker and total sheet metal solution provider in India. Conex is mainly involved in designing and manufacturing of dies & fixtures, product engineering, simultaneous engineering etc - Started industrial carrier with Conex as Trainee engineer - Begun work at shop floor with assembly of dies (e.g. Draw, Trim) and fixtures (Welding, checking fixtures) - Prior shifting to design office worked on Ramboudi- high speed CNC milling machine. - Designed & developed Draw tools in CATIA environment - Closely associated with CAE engineers during validation of design in simulation s/w- PamStamp - Gained knowledge of Method plan & draw development for automotive panels - Played significant role in Eicher Projects of 33 tools for 12 components- involved in Vendor development, Procurements, Costing of dies / parts and, bye-off process. - Experience in working Cross-functional dept.: Method plan - CAE - Construction - Shop floor / Tryout - Hands on experience in Rough Method Plan using AutoForm tool - Worked on variety of sheetmetal panels- Tail gate, door inner front, Crossmember, back-panel, Frame floor under cross, under rear, Rail roof inner frt, Outer frt, Channel piller drip, Rail side outer, platform vertical, platform rear panel, etc parts for model development to CAE and CAM. - Enhance involvement in Simultaneous Engineering (S.E.) project for Ashok Layland’s G-45 and CARGO Cabin project for complete study of die process, validation, DFM, and fixture concept
