• Established CCTV Mexico Bureau, managed $600,000 budget for business development, partnerships, branding/PR and daily operations. • Led a team of 7 international journalists to plan and produce 2,000+ stories in Mandarin, Spanish and English on major political and socioeconomic events from Mexico and other Latin American countries, to increase CCTV’s presence in Latin America. • Negotiated with TVAzteca, Mexico’s second largest broadcaster, for a strategic partnership for personnel rotation and resource sharing. Advised media strategies for Chinese overseas companies in Latin America. • Broke three stories on the prison break of El Chapo Guzman, Mexican top druglord in 2015 and won CCTV's International News Award of 2015. • Conducted one-on-one interviews with prominent figures, including: Luis Alberto Moreno, President of the Inter-American Development Bank; Wan Gang, China Science and Technology Minister; Enrique Martinez Martinez, Mexico Secretary of Agriculture; Ernesto Cordero, President of Mexican Senate.
