    Drexel’s inaugural Vice Provost for Innovation with a mission to elevate the university’s innovation capacity by re-imagining tech transfer, cultivating industry relationships, increasing external funding and developing differentiated entrepreneurship programs. Led a team of nine professionals and managed a $3.7 million annual operating budget. Formed the Drexel University Innovation External Advisory Board consisting of university trustees, senior leadership and prominent alumni and co-chaired the board with the university president to identify and address the gaps within Drexel’s innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem. Major initiatives included creating an organizational infrastructure to support collaboration across the university, building critical mass to improve ecosystem sustainability and developing financial resources to sustain the ecosystem.
