Picking up a project that we started in 2018 - building a digital lead acquisition channel for an existing 28-year-old financial services company. My role comprises overseeing end-to-end strategy, technology, and partnerships for the brand. Our goal is to optimize every touchpoint for travelers and students seeking forex solutions, all in compliance with RBI regulations. Key services include: a) Currency exchange (buying/selling of foreign currency notes) b) Forex cards (prepaid multi-currency cards for international transactions) c) Outward remittance (overseas money transfers, especially for education)

Investment Analyst

Worked as an Investment Analyst at Uncapped - Europe’s first revenue-based finance provider, gaining key insights in underwriting and risk analysis before lending to early-stage startups. Uncapped helps founders to raise working capital without giving up control of their business, providing business advances of between £10k and £5m without credit checks, personal guarantees, warrants, equity, or interest. While my stint at Uncapped was very short (I decided to move back to India), the few months that I worked in the team helped me learn and grow tremendously. Interned as analyst in the Investments team at Conviction VC - a multi-stage investor in post-revenue, high-growth B2B SaaS startups.

Participated in the end-to-end investment lifecycle of sourcing, talking to founders, due diligence and making investment decisions for a student-led fund that invests upto £50k in 2-3 Oxford-affiliated startups every year.

(Incubator of the Year 2021 - Entrepreneur India) Started as an initiative to support founders at our coworking space (Supreme Cowork), seeing the immense scope of helping pre-seed founders, we spun it out as a separate initiative. We built and ran 3 cohorts of a personalised mentorship based program, bringing mentors & founders together to streamline the early stages of launching a startup. Temporarily paused operations as we figure out a more sustainable model for startups founders as well as for the company!

Update 2024: BestPriceForex is now renamed to Supreme Forex. Conceptualized a forex e-commerce portal (bestpriceforex.com) and entire back-end process; built business plan and revenue model; analyzed and selected software-development proposal; built and trained team for customer care, digital marketing, and site maintenance; set standard of operations for forwarding leads from central team to branches.
