Created a shared services accounting team to centralize and consolidate all fund and investor reporting for approximately 20 fund groups and ~$100 billion of AUM. - Built out business systems support infrastructure for Investran Fund Accounting System - Led and drove cultural and functional change from individualized compartmentalized teams supporting individual fund groups to centralized standardized model with enhanced controls and automation. Simultaneously served as CFO of Carlyle's buyout operations in Asia (spending 1 week per month in Asia / 3 weeks in US). - Responsible for Transaction Structuring, Portfolio Valuation, overall operation and risk management of Carlyle's buyout activities in Asia (~$4bn of AUM).
