The Center works and partners with public and private participants in housing markets around the world to develop sustainable housing-related products and services for the 1.6 billion people who lack adequate housing. I have assisted startup shelter related ventures in Mexico, Kenya and Columbia over the past 3 years.

The Community FoodBank of New Jersey is one of the largest food banks in the United States. We directly manage the distribution of over 200,000 nutritious meals a day throughout the state which annually provide over 75 million pounds of food to deserving recipients. I currently serve on the Strategy and Governance Committees of the Board.

Homeless Solutions, Inc. has been helping the homeless and working poor in Morris County, New Jersey since 1983. In 2016, we provided emergency shelter and transitional housing to 365 people, including 81 children. The goal of our four shelter programs and our transitional housing program is to offer our guests the support they need to develop the skills to successfully return to independent living. We also develop permanent, supportive, environmentally friendly housing for very low, low, and moderate income households. In 2016, 136 individuals, including 54 children, found homes they could afford in HSI apartments.

To date, more than 200,000 teachers have posted over 500,000 classroom projects on the DonorsChoose.org website which have been funded. The result is that over $250 million has been raised to help 12 million public school students.
