Walter served as Partner, Co-Head North America and Managing Director at BCG Digital Ventures, Boston Consulting Group’s Venture Capital and Incubator group (now called BCGX). At Digital Ventures, he co-led its North American business, oversees digital marketing and managed over 250 entrepreneurs, product managers, designers and engineers. Since joining the Firm, Walter has launched or invested in over ten digital businesses with a focus on mobility, industrial, fin tech and consumer. 2005 -2007: Director IPTV, Gaming and Wireless Content, Verizon Communications 2004 - 2005: Director Content and Programming, FiOS TV On the founding team that launched Verizon Communication’s digital television business, FIOS TV. Directed the business development and operational execution of multi-platform deals with FiOS TV’s traditional and multimedia content partners. Oversaw FiOS TV’s IPTV content strategy, gaming service, cross platform convergence and content acquisition. Worked closely with Verizon’s product management to develop new products and services with this content, particularly on the broadband and wireless platforms.
